# Prince: Investigation into Androgyny, Childhood Record, Death, and the Manufactured-Celebrity Hoax

> **TL;DR:** Prince Rogers Nelson (1958–2016) is the second music specimen of **AU-048** (childhood recode → industrial fame → rumor containment). Public androgyny, the Warner “slave” war, and *I Would Die 4 U* (“I’m not a woman / I’m not a man / I am something that you’ll never understand”) are **Documented**. Author reads the lyric as **pre-emptive unknowability** — the encryption line that shuts down natal-sex questions — already scored **L3** in the [celebrity-slavery dossier](/influence/suppression/investigations/celebrity-modern-slavery-containment-creative-control-investigation.md). Unlike [Bruce Lee](bruce-lee.md), there is **no** open childhood opposite-sex name. Unlike [Bowie](david-bowie.md), there **is** a medical-examiner **public sheet** that lists **Sex: Male** (Midwest ME, June 2016) — official record, full autopsy **nonpublic** under Minnesota law. ## 1. Author’s originating thesis

> **Author (2026-08-13 session):** Look at David Bowie and Prince (Prince may already be covered). Same 20th-century hoax: child one degree from power; dressed or written as the opposite gender; later culture-gap misread; fame by advertising and touring, not skill; after fame the person cannot endure exposure — you’d have to see them naked, and that will not happen; drugs to keep the recode going; then a rumor, and **rumor containment** is the real lever. The victim runs to the handler. Occult or lyric allusions to not-man/not-woman are encryption. Prince already has the industry-slavery paper; fold it into the same identity lock.

**Unpack:** Prior `prince.md` asked only “androgyny: act or identity?” and “was the overdose foul play?” Those questions **remain**. The new lock is that androgyny + “slave” + fentanyl are **one machine**: a recoded asset whose public gender enigma is the **cover**, whose label war is **managed resistance**, and whose death is what happens when pain, drugs, and handlers fail to keep the body in role. **No** open source in this pass shows a female legal name, girl’s school, or infant female film role. If the hoax used **dress** rather than **paper**, it is not in the official “early years” site (which is estate-shaped).

**Author note on clocks:** Bowie’s industrial contact is **17**; Prince’s major-label lock is **19**. Both sit inside a late-adolescent hormone window. Do not force Prince into Bowie’s 1964 date.

**Documented counter:** the **public** ME fields say **Male**.  
**Author / Open:** Minnesota law **hides** the rest. A one-page sex checkbox is exactly what a containment state would publish. It is still **stronger paper than a JPEG**, and it **beats** folk skull-reading ([methodology rule 4](facial-skull-sex-estimation-methodology-investigation.md)).

**Foul play vs accident:** still **Open** (who supplied fentanyl; 20-year trafficking exposure). Identity hoax and poisoning are **not** the same claim. A recoded asset dying on opioids is compatible with **handler failure**, **self-medication of a body in revolt**, or **ordinary industry painkiller pipeline**. Do not collapse them.

**1996 son Amiir:** born to Mayte Garcia; died of Pfeiffer syndrome at one week. Soft history: biological child. **Author open:** papered birth, like Bowie’s Duncan — **not** closed, **not** invented.
