# David Bowie: Investigation into Identity, Age-17 Outing, Occult Encoding, and the Manufactured-Celebrity Hoax

## 1. Author’s originating thesis

> **Author (2026-08-13 session):** We already looked at Golda Meir; look at David Bowie and Prince. This entire theory predicates on the possibility that in the 20th century we saw many instances of the same hoax, designed specifically because it gave tremendous control over an individual.

> First a person is raised as a normal child in a situation or a family that’s one degree separate from those with power and influence, and at some point during childhood they’re either dressed as the opposite gender or written down as the opposite gender, like Bruce Lee or Golda Meir. Later, when they move to another country, a lot of people mistake their gender because of the way they’re dressed, the way they talk — and potentially because they’re from a different culture where it’s hard to tell the difference. This could be Asian culture in America, but it’s also British culture; a lot of British look different, and a lot of Americans aren’t familiar with the looks, so they might easily have mistaken David Bowie for a man at the age of 17 if he had been using gender-orienting drugs for a good chunk of the years of his childhood beforehand.

The victim runs back to the handler: please continue to protect my identity as you always have — even if it requires tracking other people through the FBI like Hoover did when there was a rumor that he was related to J. Edgar, or vice versa, to Herbert; somebody in the FBI started tracing all the rumors to keep track of them, to contain them.

David Bowie has a weird past of being compared to a Greek god who changed gender; anytime there’s an occult allusion to gender changing it’s almost a giveaway of the plan so that those in charge know the plan and those not in charge just see the encryption. The author’s “related to J. Edgar / Herbert” line is treated as **FBI rumor-containment specimen**, not as a genealogy claim.

The author said celebrity outing started at **17**. Soft history usually dates the **sexuality** outing to **1972** (age 24–25).
